This year, Whistler Blackcomb will be carefully opening on November 26th. And while some things may change due to Covid (like mountain access and pass availability), if you’re a passholder, they just might change for the better.

Season, Edge & Day Passes

A Vancouver winter would be incomplete without at least a few weekends in Whistler. The picturesque, world-class ski town is hard to tire of. Whistler is no secret and for Vancouverites who have been visiting the Sea-to-Sky town for decades, we’ve grown accustomed to international travellers enjoying the mountain as much as the locals.

With the 2020 travel restrictions and new mountain reservation requirements, this year will be a little different, and could mean fewer chairlift waits and more epic runs.

2020/21 Season

To accommodate our new normal, Epic Pass has released a brand new reservation system, including early season access and Priority Mountain Days for pass holders. The system was created to give visitors the space and reassurance they need to have a safe and enjoyable mountain experience. With this system, all visitors are required to reserve dates but passholders will be prioritized:

Early Season skiing (until Dec 8th) exclusive to passholder access only
Priority Reservation Days available for advanced booking
Epic Pass holders can book as many week-of reservations as their pass type and availability allow

Looking for some last-minute ski days? Keep in mind, single-day lift tickets are only available online or by phone and popular dates may sell out. It is recommended to purchase day passes in advance to ensure you get the most out of those bluebird powder days.
